Before you try it, make sure that you have already shared your first kiss with your date. A french kiss is a little more intimate and shouldn't be practiced until you and your date are ready. If you are really nervous about it, tell your date--you may find he or she is just as nervous as you are.
Start with a normal kiss. Your lips should be relaxed and your mouth slightly open. As you are kissing, begin to move your tongue toward your lips and begin to stick your tongue out. Do this slowly. You are not trying to jab your tongue into your date's mouth! While doing this, you may find it helpful to open your mouth a little bit more to accommodate your tongue.
Your date is going to feel your tongue. If he or she has never french kissed before, your date may not know how to respond. However awkward it may be that first time, the two of you will figure it out. If your date wants to french kiss you back, they will figure out they need to stick their tongue out as well.
French kissing is great, but don't forget that regular kisses are just as nice.
