It's difficult not to let your feelings get out of control when this type of thing happens. If you meet up with him while in America, talk to him about some of your feelings. Don't profess your love for him but see if he would like to continue keeping in touch once you do leave again.

I met this guy while we were touring in europe, he lives in usa and I live in uk, we connected immediately in all senses, we have lots in common, we were together 3 times and it was awesome, felt like we knew each other long time and he told me that he felt the same. now I don't know if I should keep in contact or just forget about him, I think that I fell in love! hahaha, anyway I was planing to go to see my friends in America this winter and maybe pay him a visit but I'm afraid to get hurt...? What should I do??

Lauren, you need to examine why the two of you don't spend much time together. Is it because one or both of you is busy with work/school? Or is it because you don't have much in common and don't enjoy hanging out with each other? If it's because the two of you aren't very compatible, then breakup and find someone that is a better fit for you. If its because of being busy, then you have to decide if you can handle dating someone that isn't as available as you would like. It is OK to want to see your boyfriend a lot and if this guy can't provide that, then it may be best to move on.
