You have to look at the whole picture -- your heart and what you want from a partner. Mixed race relationship can work, although they can sometimes be more challenging. If you are committed to the hard work, it could be worth the extra effort.

There are two opportunities for me right now with friends who may want to take it to the next level. Problem is, they both are long distance. One I am attracted to mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, the other, personality. I feel my heart is invested in the first girl because I was friends with her first and became attracted to her, but the other seems to fit the race that I am. I am black and she is mixed. The first girl is white and I am attracted to her more. I have always liked Caucasian women more. I suppose I am answering my own question but should I follow my heart or what would appear to be more conducive to the norm of relationships in this day and age with a look toward the distant future?
