Let’s say you went on a first date and it went great. You have the person’s phone number and you said that you would call. When is the right time to call? Later that night, the next day, or do you go by the three day rule? |

Onlinedating - what is your reasoning for the same day? Do you feel that it’s best not to keep your date hanging or fear that he or she will start second guessing how he or she feels about you if you wait a day or two? |

I don’t subscribe to the 3 day rule. I don’t think there are any hard and fast rules for calling after a date. I do think there are guidlines to follow. Calling too soon can come across as desperate. Waiting too long (longer than 4 days) can seem like you’re not that interested. |
