Out Personals is a dating website in the Adult Friend Finder network that promises to let users “hook up with the hottest men.” By this statement alone, it’s easy to tell that it is not a site that markets itself as a way to find a long term partner. Searching Out Personals

One the site's homepage, you have the option to search immediately without becoming a member. First, you can select whether you are a man searching alone or if you are searching as a bi couple (designated as a bisexual man and a woman), a group or gay couple. Then you can select one of those four options as what you are seeking. Next, fill in the age range and geographic area you are looking to meet someone in and click on search.

A screen will come up asking you if you would like to view explicit photos or not. Note that there are many graphic pictures on this site, so do not take this decision lightly or you could find yourself offended.

Once you’ve selected that final option, you will get a list of members near you. At a quick glance you can see their ages, who they are seeking, where they live and when they were last online. If you click on a profile, you'll see a screen asking you to join, which brings you to the next step.

Joining the Site

This site is free to join, but you must use a valid email address so that you can get your password. Once you begin registration, you can narrow your search using the following categories:

You can also answers these questions in your profile to help other users find you, or you can choose “prefer not to say” if you would rather not disclose this information upfront.

Once you’ve entered a title and a descriptive paragraph of at least two sentences, click the button at the bottom of the screen to launch your ad. Note that you must check your email to get your password so that you can log in. You will now be able to see full profiles as well as send members email through the site.

Chat Rooms

Registered Out Personals members also have access to chat rooms. There are rooms centered around six continents, as well as targeted rooms for members in their thirties, members who wish to share Web cam pictures, rooms for transsexuals and many more. Some are more active than others. There are also groups you can join to meet other individuals with like interests.

Blogs

One of the most highly trafficked areas of Out Personals seems to be the blog area. This is where members can post regular updates on their lives and read other members' blogs. All you have to do is click on the word blogs at the top of the homepage to find this area. You will be able to read and comment on others’ blogs or create your own.

People with Premium membership automatically move to the top of other members’ search lists, which means it could increase the odds of that special someone finding you.
