BBW Club Bounce Beginnings
The basic concept of Club Bounce originated in California. Every weekend they gather at a nightclub in Long Beach to dance the night away. BBW women are often intimated by the standard dating scene with the focus on the skinny flashy women on the prowl. But, at a BBW Club Bounce the atmosphere is geared on a size acceptance policy. Although the authentic Club Bounce is only available in Southern California, there are similar style clubs in other locations.
Founding Women
BBW Club Bounce was started by two women, Lisa Marie Garbo and Cher Rue. Both BBW themselves, they saw a need and had the desire to make their dream a reality. Both California girls, they opened up their club on the Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, California.
Club Style
BBW Club Bounce provides your standard nightclub presentation with light shows and hip hop music blaring Friday and Saturday nights. While many regulars go to have fun socializing with like-minded plus-sized women, the club has also been know to be a great place to meet a future mate.
A DJ inspired music setup; they also provide comfy seating, fireplace, and outside smoking patio. With a restaurant next door, you can come early and have dinner before. In a true adult community, no one under 21 is allowed.
In addition to the standard club faire, they also have special events geared around typical celebrations like green beer on St. Patrick’s Day, costumes near Halloween, and games or theme nights. The admission is always $10 for a standard night with occasional events requiring more. Their website advertises more than 350 visitors a night each weekend, sure to be enough to keep everyone entertained.
The club is adjacent to a motel, so you can also incorporate a trip and nights stay. Party all night and walk to your room. If you do live in the area, there is also free parking right in front of the club. Make it a special occasion trip for a milestone birthday, bachelorette or bachelor party, even just to celebrate single living.
